JSSL Singapore Championship Leagues Round Up – Jan 26
The 2nd weekend of the JSSL Championship Leagues got under way in perfect footballing conditions as the cool temperatures continued across the Island. With only 4 games remaining in each division teams began to assert their dominance in their leagues.
Here’s a round up from all 4 Leagues and divisions.
Group 8’s
Division 1 – JSSL Walcott made it 2 wins from 2 games as they beat F-17 1-0, while Podolski won 2-0 against ISA Cantona and Shoot and Diaby saw out a 0-0 draw. JSSL Walcott sit on top of the table with 6 points.
Division 2 – Both ANZA teams earned wins as ANZA Gold beat JSSL Ozil 2-0 and ANZA Green beat Blue Eagles 1-0. In the final game F-17 and Turf City drew 0-0. Turf City and F-17 United are joint on 4 points.
Division 3 – There were good wins for Shoot Bears, JSSL Ramsey and JSSL Miyaichi in the 3rd division. Shoot Bears sit in pole position with 6 points.
Division 4 – F-17 Rovers made it 2 wins from 2 games while Shoot Challengers and JSSL Park also picked up 3 points each. F-17 Rovers sit on top of the table with 6 points and JSSL Park are in 2nd on 4 points.
Group 10’s
Division 1 – JSSL Cazorla took all 3 points against JSSL Diaby, while in the ISA derby ISA Nedved narrowly beat ISA Gullitt 1-0. In the final game Shoot and JSSL Podolski both earned a point in a 1-1 draw. JSSL Cazorla sit on top with 6 points.
Division 2 – ANZA Green made it 2 wins from 2 games as did Shoot Bears. JSSL Rosicky and ANZA Gold drew 1-1. Anza Green and Shoot Bears both sit joint on 6 points.
Division 3 – F-17 narrowly beat JSSL Park 3-2 in an exciting game, while JSSL Miyaichi picked up 3 points against JSSL Ozil, and JSSL Ramsey and Blue Eagles saw out a 1-1 draw. F-17 United sit on top with 6 points.
Division 4 – Good wins for F-17 Rovers, YSA and Shoot Bears saw YSA and F-17 sit on top of the table joint on 6 points.
Group 12’s
Div 1 – ANZA got their campaign off to a winning start with a 2-0 win over JSSL Podolski, while F-17 convincingly beat Albirex and West Gremios beat Turf City 2-1. F-17 Wanderers sit on top with 6 points from 2 games.
Div 2 – In division 2 there were good wins from JSSL Diaby, JSSL Cazorla and YSA. JSSL Diaby and YSA now have 2 wins from 2 games and are joint top.
Div 3 – ISA Nesta and Blue Eagles won while JSSL Ramsey and JSSL Park drew. Blue Eagles now have 6 points form 2 games and are on top.
Group 14’s
Div 1 – JSSL Podolski, Albirex and GFA Japan continued their campaigns with wins which sees Podolski and GFA joint top on 6 points.
Div 2 – there were good wins for F-17, ANZA Gold, Turf City Mustangs and Ace Soccer Academy. JSSL Ramsey sit on top with 6 points with 3 teams all on 4 points.
