JSSL League Haze Policy Update

The League Organisers have implemented the following league haze policy which is to be implemented at all League venues:

  • League Games will be played up to 100 for the 1 hour PM2.5 reading (on the NEA app).
  • If the 1 hour PM2.5 reading goes over 100 League games will be canceled.
  • Reading will be taken from the NEA APP (not the nea website)
    • Turf City & Rainforest - WEST reading
    • HQ Arena - Central reading
    • Stamford American School - central reading
    • Safra Tampines - East reading
  • We will look to send out a “HAZE Update”, when needed, on the League Coaches WhatsApp group every hour before games are played using the latest NEA app reading. It will then be the responsibility of the league coaches to inform their teams and players.
  • For teams that have already started their games and the 1 hour PM2.5 reading goes over 100 we will continue and finish off the game.
  • For teams that have arrived on site and have not yet started their game and the 1 hour PM2.5 reading goes over 100 we will offer both teams the choice of playing or not playing the game. If 1 team decides they do not want to play we will re-schedule the game.
  • Teams that are unable to play, will concede a walkover with NO fine, as long as the Organisers are advised at least 30mins prior to kick off before the match
  • If a team does not show up and does not inform the Organisers at least 30mins before the match, a walkover will be given as well as the late cancellation fine
  • Ultimately, the JSSL Leagues are for the the benefit and enjoyment of the children and teams. Parents and clubs should make their own decision as to whether to play based on their child’s personal conditions
